PT Bumi Suksesindo<\/strong> (BSI) was recognized as one of the top taxpayers contributing significantly in 2023. The award was presented during the Tax Gathering event organized by the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) for East Java III on September 19, 2024, at Savana Hotel and Convention in Malang, East Java.<\/p>\n

This event honored 40 top taxpayers registered at several tax offices under the jurisdiction of DJP East Java III, including KPP Madya Malang. The award highlights BSI\u2019s vital role, as a subsidiary of PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk<\/a><\/span>, in supporting tax revenues for KPP Madya Malang. BSI operates the Tujuh Bukit Gold Mine<\/a><\/span> in Banyuwangi, East Java. The award was received by Tri Wahyudi, Assistant Manager of Tax at PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk.<\/p>\n

Tri Bowo, Head of DJP East Java III, praised the taxpayers for achieving tax revenue targets despite the economic challenges. \u201cTaxes play a key role in national development,\u201d he stated. \u201cEqually important is how taxpayers help oversee the use of tax funds for the nation\u2019s development.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Jakarta, similar awards were recently presented to PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral, which manages the SCM Mine in Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi, as well as PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk and PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia<\/a><\/span>. These recognitions reflect BSI\u2019s commitment, along with all subsidiaries under the Merdeka Group, to fulfilling their tax obligations and supporting the economic progress and development of the nation.<\/p>\n
