PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk’s<\/strong> Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) rating has been upgraded from BB in 2021 to BBB in 2022 by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI<\/span><\/a>). Recognized by investment institutions around the world, the MSCI ESG<\/span><\/a> rating aims to measure the exposure to long-term environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities of thousands of companies globally.<\/p>\n

This upgrade is a recognition of Merdeka’s commitment to sustainability and our environmental, social, and governance-related performance. It places Merdeka as one of the few Indonesian mining companies that have received the BBB rating, the highest MSCI ESG rating given to Indonesian Metals and Mining companies.
